YEAR 2014- 2018

President :

Tengku Abdullah Al- Haj Ibni Sultan Ahmad Shah Al- Musta’in Billah 

His Royal Highness Tengku Abdullah Al Haj Ibni Sultan Ahmad Shah Al-Musta’in Billah began his career in sports administration when he took over as the President of Pahang Football Association in 1984. Shortly after, he was elected as the Deputy President of Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) and the Association experienced a wave of change with his hands-on approach and committed involvement.

His dedication and passion won him many accolades and was elected as the Vice President of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC). Prince Abdullah held chairmanship of various standing committees in AFC such as AFC Technical Committee and subsequently is now the chairman of the prestigious Organising Committee of 2015 AFC Asian Cup Australia and AFC Development Committee. In the world of football, Prince Abdullah is no stranger for having served as a member of FIFA Technical Committee, FIFA Youth Committee and Organising Committee of FIFA Confederations Cup 1998. He currently sits in FIFA Football Committee as a member, under the chairmanship of Michel Platini.

He was elected as the President of the Association during FAM's 50th Congress on 25th May 2014. Prince Abdullah also chairs the Emergency Committee, the Financial and Management Committee as well as the International Team Management Committee at FAM. 

 

 

Deputy President :

Dato' Sri Hj Afandi Bin Hamzah

Dato’ Sri Hj Afandi Bin Hamzah was elected as the Deputy President of Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) during the FAM’s 50th Congress on 25th May 2014. He currently serves as the Chairman for the Local Competitions Committee and the Legal and Regulations Committee, as well as the Deputy Chairman of the Emergency Committee at FAM. He is also the Team Manager for Harimau Muda A.

In 1990, he got involved with the Kelantan Football Association (KAFA), where he served as Vice President between1995- 2010. He was then nominated as the Deputy President of the association, until 2013. As of 2014, Dato’ Sri Afandi now serves as the Acting President of KAFA.

In addition to being a part of the KAFA ExCo, Dato’ Sri Hj Afandi has also served as the Assistant Team Manager of Kelantan Football team between1995 -1998 and 2002 - 2007. Prior to this, he also served as the Vice President of FAM during the 2010-2014 term

.

Dato' Abdul Mokhtar Bin Ahmad

Dato’ Abdul Mokhtar Bin Ahmad was elected as the Deputy President of Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) during the FAM’s 50th Congress on 25th May 2014. He is the Chairman of the  Technical and Youth Development Football Committee and the Deputy Chairman of the Finance and Management Committee at FAM.

In 1995, he first served Football Association of Selangor (FAS) as the Vice President, and in 2000,heserved as the Deputy President for the association. Between 1999 - 2003, Dato’ Abdul Mokhtar was also the Team Manager for the Red Giants (Selangor FA), where he succeeded in leading them to win the Premier League (2000), FA Cup (2001), Piala Sumbangsih and Malaysia Cup (2002).

 

Vice President:

Dato' Zainol Fadzi Bin Paharudin 

Dato’ Zainol was nominated to be a part of Football Association of Malaysia’s  (FAM) Executive Committee for the 2014- 2018 term during the FAM’s 50th Congress on 25th May 2014. He is the Chairman of the Media and Public Relations Committee at FAM.

Professionally, Dato’ Zainol currently serves as a member of the Perak State Executive Council, and acts as the Chairman for the Public Utilities, Infrastructure, Energy and Water board.

He has been involved with the Perak Football Association (PAFA) since 2008, where he was nominated as an Executive Committee member. He served as PAFA President from 2010 until 2015. He has since decided not to defend his post during the latest PAFA Congress in October 2015.

Additionally, he has also served as the President of the Hilir Perak Football Association (2005- 2013) and Team Manager for Perak’s team for the Presidents Cup (2008-2010). He currently also serves as a committee member for the Hilir Perak Football Association.

 

Dato' Rozabil Bin Abd Rahman

Dato’ Rozabil Bin Abdul Rahman was nominated to be a part of Football Association of Malaysia’s (FAM) Executive Committee for the 2014- 2018 term during the FAM’s 50th Congress on 25th May 2014. He is the Chairman of the International Competitions Committee and the Team Manager for Harimau Muda B.

He currently serves as the President for the Perlis Football Association and is the Chairman for the Malaysian Stadium Corporation.

 

Datu Sudarsono Bin Osman 

Datu Sudarsono Bin Osman was nominated to be a part of Football Association of Malaysia’s (FAM)Executive Committee for the 2014- 2018 term during the FAM’S 50th Congress on 25th May 2014. He is the Chairman for the Marketing Committee and the Deputy Chairman for the International Competitions Committee at FAM.

He currently serves as the President for the Sarawak Football Association, where he first got involved in 2010.

He graduated with a Bachelors of Surveying from the University of Queensland, Australia in 1978 under the Colombo Plan Scholarship.

 

 

Dato' Hj Takiyuddin Bin Hj Hassan  

Dato’ Hj Takiyuddin Bin Hj Hassan was elected as a part of Football Association of Malaysia’s (FAM) Executive Committee for the 2014- 2018 term during the FAM’s 50th Congress on 25th May 2014. He is the Chairman for the Status Committee and the Deputy Chairman for the Legal and Regulations Committee at FAM.

Between 1995-1997, he served as the Deputy President of Kelantan Football Association (KAFA). He served as PBMM President from 2009 until 2015. He has since decided not to defend his post during the January 2016 elections. Over the years, he has also been actively involved in organizing football tournaments, especially for the Piala Emas Raja-Raja.

Executive Committee:

Datuk Mohd Yusoff Bin Mahadi  

Datuk Mohd Yusoff Bin Mahadi was nominated to be a part of Football Association of Malaysia’s (FAM) Executive Committee for the 2014- 2018 term during the FAM’s 50th Congress on 25th May 2014.He is the Chairman for the Futsal and Beach Soccer Committee at FAM and the Team Manager for Men’s Futsal.

He currently also serves as the Deputy President for the Melaka Football Association.

 

Abdul Aziz Bin Yeop Jamaludin

 

Abdul Aziz Yeop Jamaluddin was nominated to be a part of Football Association of Malaysia’s (FAM) Executive Committee for the 2014- 2018 term during the FAM’s 50th Congress on 25th May 2014. He is the Chairman for the Sports Medical Committee and the Deputy Chairman for the Status Committee at FAM. He served as the Honorary Secretary of the Perak Football Association until October 2015 before being replaced.

 

 

Dato' S. Sivasundaram  A/L Sithamparam Pillai

Dato' S.Sivasundaram is one of the two re-elected officials who became a part of Football Association of Malaysia’s (FAM) Executive Committee for the 2014- 2018 term during the FAM’s 50th Congress on 25th May 2014. He is the Chairman for the Tickets and Gates Committee and the Deputy Chairman for the Local Competitions Committee at FAM. He is also the newly elected Chairman of the Referees Committee replacing the late Dato' Goh Ah Chai.

Over the years, Dato' Sivasundram has played a large role in bridging the gap between the Malaysian Indian Sports Association and the Football Association of Malaysia.

He has served as the Chairman of Women’s Football, and under his leadership, the national women’s team qualified for the semi-finals for the last SEA Games, for the first time in almost two decades, where they finished in fourth place.

 

 

Alijus @ Mohd Ali Haji Sipil 

Alijus @ Mohd Ali Hj Sipil was elected as a part of Football Association of Malaysia’s  (FAM) Executive Committee for the 2014- 2018 term during the FAM’s 50th Congress on 25th May 2014. He is the Deputy Chairman for the Sports Medical Committee at FAM.

He served as the Team Manager for the Sabah Football Association (SAFA) tunder-19 team, where he led them to play in the Presidents Cup between 2006-2008. He also led the team as the Team Manager for several SUKMA Games.

Alijus also currently serves at the General Secretary of Sabah Football Association (SAFA) for the 2013 – 2017 session.

 

 

Dato' Osman Bin Salleh

DCP Dato’ Osman Bin Salleh was one of the two re-elected officials who became a part of Football Association of Malaysia’s (FAM) Executive Committee for the 2014- 2018 term during the FAM’s 50th Congress on 25th May 2014. He is the Deputy Chairman of the Security Committee and the Tickets and Gates Committee at FAM.

He currently also serves as the Deputy President of PDRM Football Association, and is the Chief of Police for Negeri Sembilan.

 

 

Dato' Goh Ah Chai (20 October 1946 - 18 February 2016)

Dato' Goh Ah Chai was nominated to be a part of Football Association of Malaysia’s (FAM) Executive Committee for the 2014- 2018 term during the FAM’s 50th Congress on 25th May 2014. He is the Chairman of the Referee’s Committee at FAM.

He currently serves as the General Secretary of Chinese Malaysian Football Association. Goh has been serving the Football Association of Malaysia in various capacities since the early 80s.  He has contributed his services with the Finance Committee between 1982 -1984, Gates and Ticketing Committee between 1995-2001 and was a part of the Competitions Committee between 2001 -2010.

In addition to that, Goh also served as the Assistant Manager for the National Team from 1981 until 1985. Between year 2000- 2007, Goh also served as the General Secretary of Kuala Lumpur Football Association. He passed away of intestine cancer at the age of 69 on February 18, 2016. 

 

Dato' Mohd Junid Bin Mohd Noor 

Dato’ Mohd Junid Bin Mohd Noor was nominated to be a part of Football Association of Malaysia’s (FAM) Executive Committee for the 2014- 2018 term during the FAM’s 50th Congress on 25th May 2014. He is the Deputy Chairman of the Technical and Youth Development Football Committee at FAM.

He currently also serves as the Executive Secretary of the Football Association of Penang (1992- current). Prior to this, he served as a member of the Technical and Development Committee for the Football Association of Penang (1988-1992) and as the Assistant Team Manager for Penang’s team for the Presidents Cup (1997-2000)

Dato’ Mohd Junid holds a Masters of Science in Physical Education (Sports Management) from the University of New Mexico, USA.

 

Dato' Othman Bin Aziz 

Dato’ Othman Bin Aziz was nominated to be a part of Football Association of Malaysia’s (FAM) Executive Committee for the 2014- 2018 term during the FAM’s 50th Congress on 25th May 2014. He is the Deputy Chairman of the Marketing and the Referee’s Committee at FAM. He is the Team Manager for Harimau Muda C.

Dato’ Othman currently serves as the Chairman of Tourism, Youth and Sports for Kedah Darul Aman. Under his leadership, he lead the Kedah Football team to win the FA Cup, Malaysian Cup and Super League during the 2006/ 2007 season.

 

 

Brigadier General Dato' Norhuda Binti Ahmad

Brigadier General Datuk Norhuda Binti Ahmad was nominated as one of two female officials to be a part of Football Association of Malaysia’s (FAM) Executive Committee for the 2014- 2018 term during the FAM 50th Congress on 25th May 2014. She is the Chairman of the Women’s Football Committee, and the Deputy Chairman of the Futsal and Beach Soccer Committee at FAM. She is the Team Manager for the National Women’s Football Team.

Brigadier General Datuk Norhuda joined the Royal Malaysian Armed Forces in 1978. Throughout her career in the army, she has held various posts and was previously the head of the Asean branch, Integrated Intelligence Centre (IIC), Strategic Directorate, Defense Intelligence Staff division, and was then promoted as head of the Directorate's Training Division.

She is the first female army officer to hold the post of Brigadier General in Malaysia.

 

 

Normala Binti Md Yusoff

Normala Binti Md Yusoff was nominated as one of two female officials to be a part of Football Association of Malaysia’s (FAM) Executive Committee for the 2014- 2018 term during the FAM 50th Congress on 25th May 2014. She is the Deputy Chairman of the National Womans Football Team Committee and the Media and Public Relations Team Committee at FAM. She is the Team Manager for the National Womens Futsal team.

Normala currently serves as a police officer at Pusat Latihan Polis (Pulapol), Kuala Lumpur. Over the years, she has both played and captained PDRM Women’s Football team for both the Rodziah Cup (between 1997-2000) and President Cup (1999). Normala represented the Malaysian Women’s Football team as the Assistant Team Manager during SEA Games in Kuala Lumpur (2001) and in Vietnam (2003). She also played the same roll during the AFC Women’s Championship Chinese Taipei in 2001.

Additionally she has also been a fulsal player, where she had been a part of the Johor team where she participated in the National Felda Tournament before she graduated to be the Assistant Coach for the team, and the moving on to the Assistant Coach for PDRM Futsal team.
