NORSHAHRUL PICKS UP SECOND MVP CROWN

Kelantan striker Norshahrul Idlan Talaha was proclaimed the Most Valuable Player of the Malaysian League for the second year running at the 100PLUS-Astro Arena-FAM National Football Awards 2011 that was held at a leading hotel in Petaling Jaya, Wednesday (30/11/11).

Success was even sweeter for Norshahrul this year as the prestigious MVP award has been renamed the SuperMokh Award in honour of Malaysia’s legendary striker Mokhtar Dahari. Norshahrul, who bagged RM5,000, won the award ahead of goalkeeper Khairul Fahmi Che Mat and Safiq Rahim.

And as he did last year, Norshahrul also won the Best Striker award this time around.
