Shah Alam set to stage AFC U-23 Group I qualifiers

The historic Shah Alam Stadium is buzzing in preparation for the upcoming AFC U-23 Championship Group I qualifiers set to start on 27th March 2015.

Group I features four under-23 teams; Japan, Malaysia, Vietnam and Macau with all fixtures to be played at the 80,000 seater stadium.

Matchday tickets will be priced at RM20 for adults and free admission for children below the age of twelve years old. Each ticket includes the two matches set to be played on each matchday.

Head coach, Razip Ismail’s fledglings look all set to kickstart their AFC U-23 Championship qualifiers against Vietnam on 27th March, followed by Macau on 29th March and Japan on 31st March.

The young squad will travel to Yangon, Myanmar on the 16th until 23rd March as final preparations for the upcoming qualifying round. The Young Tigers will take on Myanmar’s under-20 squad (19th March) and under-23 squad (22nd March).
