Persatuan Bolasepak Malaysia (FAM), hari ini mengumumkan nama empat rakan penaja rasmi bagi edisi sulung Malaysia Premier Futsal League (MPFL) musim 2019 yang bakal membuka tirai saingannya pada hujung minggu ini (22 & 23 Jun 2019).

Empat penaja berkenaan terdiri daripada Yoodo, syarikat perkhidmatan telekomunikasi mudah alih digital; Joma, jenama bagi bola rasmi pertandingan; 100PLUS, minuman isotonik pertama di Malaysia dan Astro, penyiar rasmi siaran langsung perlawanan terpilih menerusi platform Astro Go.

Naib Presiden FAM, Datuk Haji Rosmadi Ismail selaku Pengerusi Jawatankuasa Futsal dan Bola Sepak Pantai FAM cukup berbesar hati dengan kesudian empat syarikat berkenaan untuk tampil sebagai penaja, sekali gus bakal memeriahkan lagi saingan liga futsal profesional yang julung kalinya dianjurkan di negara ini.

“Terima kasih kepada Yoodo, Joma, 100PLUS dan Astro kerana sudi untuk tampil sebagai kelompok penaja sulung bagi MPFL. Apa yang pasti, nama anda semua akan tercatat dalam sejarah futsal negara kerana bersama-sama FAM dalam penganjuran edisi pertama pertandingan futsal kebangsaan secara profesional di Malaysia.

“Sudah tentu saya turut teruja melihat MPFL berjaya mendapat sokongan penajaan ini ketika bahang saingan sepak mulanya kian terasa menjelang perlawanan pembukaan Kedah bertemu Terengganu di Alor Setar pada Sabtu ini (22 Jun 2019) dan disusuli tiga perlawanan iaitu KL City FC lwn Pulau Pinang, Kuala Lumpur lwn Pahang dan Selangor lwn Perak di Shah Alam pada Ahad ini (23 Jun 2019).

“Dengan kehadiran penaja-penaja ini, saya yakin dan pasti saingan MPFL 2019 ini akan dapat menarik minat pengikut sukan futsal di Malaysia ini untuk hadir memeriahkan venue-venue pertandingan, sekali gus memberi semangat buat para pemain kesemua pasukan tampil dengan aksi lebih bertenaga dan berkualiti tinggi,” kata Datuk Haji Rosmadi pada Majlis Pengumuman Penaja-Penaja MPFL 2019 di Wisma FAM, di sini, hari ini.

Yang turut hadir pada majlis berkenaan adalah Ketua Yoodo, Chow Tuck Mun; Pengurus Pemasaran Ganador Marketing, Choong Tuck Wai mewakili Joma; Pengurus Pemasaran Sukan dan Pengaktifan F&N Beverages Marketing Sdn Bhd, Engku Isyamuddin Tuan Losin mewakili 100PLUS dan Ketua Bahagian Sukan Astro, CK Lee.

MPFL 2019 bagi kategori lelaki yang membabitkan sembilan pasukan iaitu Kedah, Kuala Lumpur, KL City FC, Melaka, Pahang, Perak, Pulau Pinang, Selangor dan Terengganu bakal berlangsung selama tiga bulan dari 22 Jun 2019 hingga 29 September 2019 membabitkan 18 hari perlawanan (home & away) di venue-venue seluruh negara termasuk Shah Alam, Ipoh, Pulau Pinang, Alor Setar, Kuala Terengganu dan Kuantan. Kategori wanita yang disertai empat pasukan pula bakal bermula Julai ini.

PRESS RELEASE: YOODO, JOMA, 100PLUS & ASTRO ANNOUNCED AS OFFICIAL SPONSORS OF MPFL 2019

The Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) today announced the names of four official sponsors for the inaugural Malaysia Premier Futsal League (MPFL) 2019 season which will commence this weekend (22nd & 23rd June 2019).

The four sponsors were Yoodo, a digital mobile telecommunications services company; Joma, the brand for the official match ball of the competition; 100PLUS, Malaysia's first isotonic drink and Astro, the official live broadcasters of selected matches via the Astro Go platform.

FAM Vice President, Datuk Haji Rosmadi Ismail who is also the FAM Chairman of Futsal and Beach Soccer Committee is pleased with the announcement of the four companies as sponsors, thereby enlivening the first ever professional futsal league in the country.

"My heartfelt gratitude to Yoodo, Joma, 100PLUS and Astro for coming forward to be among the first sponsors for MPFL. Your names will surely be recorded in national futsal history because it is in conjunction with FAM organizing the first edition of the professional national futsal competition.

"Of course, I'm excited to see that MPFL has garnered the support of our sponsors as we kick-off with the inaugural season this weekend, starting with the first match between Kedah and Terengganu in Alor Setar on Saturday (22nd June 2019), followed by three matches on Sunday (23rd June 2019) with KL City FC taking on Pulau Pinang, Kuala Lumpur versus Pahang and Selangor versus Perak in Shah Alam.

"With the presence of these sponsors, I am confident the MPFL 2019 will be able to attract futsal fans in Malaysia to turn up in full voice at respective venues, thus fueling the players of all teams to put on more energetic and high-quality performances,” said Datuk Haji Rosmadi at the MPFL 2019 Sponsors Announcement Ceremony 2019 at Wisma FAM, here today.

Also present at the ceremony were the Chairman of Yoodo, Chow Tuck Mun; Ganador Marketing Manager, Choong Tuck Wai represented Joma; F & N Beverages Marketing Sdn Bhd Sports Marketing and Activation Manager, Engku Isyamuddin Tuan Losin represented 100PLUS and Head of Astro Sports Division, CK Lee.

The MPFL 2019 men’s category, consisting of nine teams namely Kedah, Kuala Lumpur, KL City FC, Melaka, Pahang, Perak, Penang, Selangor and Terengganu will run for three months, from 22nd June 2019 to 29th September 2019 with 18 matchdays (home & away) in venues nationwide from Shah Alam, Ipoh, Penang, Alor Setar, Kuala Terengganu and Kuantan. The women's category consisting of four teams will start this July.
