Hari ini, Ahad 21 Oktober 2018 merupakan hari ke-100 Dato' Haji Hamidin Haji Mohd Amin menggalas tugas sebagai Presiden Persatuan Bolasepak Malaysia (FAM) selepas dipilih secara rasmi pada Kongres FAM Kali Ke-54 pada 14 Julai 2018.
Sejajar dengan falsafah FAM untuk mengamalkan konsep bermuhasabah, FAM dengan ini berbesar hati mengumumkan laporan prestasi 100 hari selain menjejak garis masa elemen dan dasar teras kepimpinan untuk penggal 2018-2021 seperti yang telah dinyatakan Dato' Haji Hamidin pada hari pertama beliau bergelar Presiden FAM tempoh hari.
Kaedah pengurusan metrik dalam bentuk peratusan yang dipaparkan dalam info grafik ini adalah sebagai usaha FAM untuk memantau prestasi pengurusan dan unsur-unsur utama di sebalik teras dasar kepimpinan yang telah ditetapkan oleh Dato' Haji Hamidin.
Lima perkara asas teras kepimpinan dan harapan Dato' Haji Hamidin selaku Presiden FAM untuk dilaksanakan dalam tempoh tiga tahun menyaksikan perkara asas pertama iaitu Tadbir Urus - Pengurusan & Pentadbiran sudah mencapai 28%, perkara asas kedua - Pasukan Kebangsaan 50%, perkara asas ketiga - Program Pembangunan 39%, perkara asas keempat - Pertandingan 15% dan perkara asas kelima - Pemasaran & Komunikasi 24%.
Secara keseluruhan, dalam tempoh hanya 100 hari ini saja, 31.2% teras kepimpinan bagi jangka masa tiga tahun ini sudah pun berjaya dilaksanakan oleh FAM.
Sudah tentu ia tidak terhenti setakat ini dan pasti akan diteruskan lagi usaha serta kerja keras sepanjang tempoh tiga tahun sehingga berakhirnya penggal kali ini iaitu pada tahun 2021.
Selain teras kepimpinan tersebut, tempoh 100 hari pertama ini juga telah menampakkan perkembangan cukup positif apabila beberapa kejayaan dicapai oleh FAM, antaranya:
1. Merangkul Anugerah Dream Asia AFC atas kerja-kerja pembangunan akar umbi
2. Menganjurkan dengan jayanya Kejuaraan B-16 AFC 2018, yang juga kejohanan pertama AFC yang dianjurkan FAM sejak Piala Asia 2007
3. Memeterai perjanjian dengan CustomCraft (M) Sdn Bhd sebagai rakan komersial terbaharu
4. Muncul juara Kejuaraan B-19 AFF 2018 di Indonesia
5. Muncul tempat ketiga Kejuaraan B-16 AFF 2018 di Indonesia
6. Menampilkan Mohamadou Sumareh sebagai pemain naturalisasi pertama untuk menyarung jersi pasukan kebangsaan, Harimau Malaya
7. Melancarkan kursus Diploma Eksekutif Pengajian Bola Sepak UiTM
Sudah tentu, banyak lagi perkara positif dan kejayaan akan dapat dicapai selepas ini jika seluruh warga kerja FAM termasuk Ahli-Ahli Jawatankuasa Eksekutif serta Sekretariat Agung yang diketuai Stuart Ramalingam terus bekerja keras dan pada masa sama, ahli-ahli gabungan FAM serta warga bola sepak di seluruh negara termasuk para penyokong semua turut tampil memberikan kerjasama penuh dan sokongan berterusan demi kita sama-sama berjuang untuk memartabatkan bola sepak Malaysia.

FAM PRESIDENT’S FIRST 100 DAYS

Today, October 21, 2018, marks the 100th day of Dato’ Haji Hamidin bin Haji Mohd Amin’s tenure as the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) president.
In line with our philosophy to continuously conduct an introspective exercise, we are pleased to announce the 100-days report card and a tracking of the key milestones to monitor Dato’ Haji Hamidin’s core principles of his mission statement for the term 2018-2021.
The method of management metrics in the form of percentages displayed in this graphic reflects FAM's efforts to monitor management performance and key elements behind the core principles set by Dato' Haji Hamidin.
Five core elemental principles of leadership and the aspirations of Dato’ Haji Hamidin as the FAM President to be implemented within three years saw the first core element namely Governance - Management & Administration already reached 28%, second element - 50% National Team, third element – Development Program 39%, fourth element - 15% Competition and fifth element - Marketing & Communication 24%.
Overall, in just 100 days alone, 31.2% leadership core for the three-year period has already been successfully implemented by FAM.
Of course, it will not stop here and will continue the hard work over the three years until the end of this term, in 2021.
Besides the core leadership elements, the first 100 days milestone has also seen some positive progress achieved by FAM, among them are:
1. Bagged the AFC Dream Asia Awards for grassroots efforts
2. Successfully staged the AFC Under-16 Championship, the first AFC event since the AFC Asian Cup in 2007
3. Named CustomCraft (M) Sdn Bhd as FAM’s newest commercial partner
4. Emerged as the 2018 AFF Under-19 winners in Indonesia
5. Emerged as the third best finishers in the 2018 AFF Under-16 Championship in Indonesia
6. Fielded Mohamadou Sumareh as the first naturalised player for the national Harimau Malaya squad
7. Launched the UiTM Executive Diploma in Football Studies
Of course, many more positive things and success will be achieved later if the entire FAM work force including Executive Committee Members and the General Secretariat headed by Stuart Ramalingam continue to work hard and at the same time, FAM affiliates as well as football enthusiasts and supporters throughout the country all come together to give full cooperation and continue their support as we bid to elevate Malaysian football.
