AFC KICK OFF PROGRAMME/UEFA SUPPORT TO FAM – STADIA AND SECURITY

Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) have taken initiatives under the AFC Kick-Off programme in key areas concerning stadium security, safety and fan management. FAM have been part of the said programme since 2014 and has recently launched the Player Support Seminar exposing players to a second career after football, contractual related issues, professionalism and integrity.

Under the said initiative, FAM will collaborate closely with the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) and UEFA in the next four months towards achieving a national strategy in stadium and security matters.

FAM will work closely with key stakeholders to achieve an integrated national strategy. Cooperation between football and public authorities will be enhanced, security and safety awareness will be heightened and potential infrastructure weaknesses will be addressed.
