Comfortable win for Terengganu

Defending champions, Terengganu gain a slight advantage after defeating Singapore Lions XII 1-0 in an FA Cup first leg quarter-final match at the Sultan Ismail Nasiruddin Shah in Kuala Terengganu, Sunday (25/3/12).

Terengganu got the match winner in the 65^th minutes after a Joseph Kalang Tie shot deflected off defender Sevki Sha’ban in the Lion’s goal. The second leg match will be held on Tuesday at the Jalan Besar Stadium in Singapore.

The Singapore team played with 10 men after Hariss Harun was sent out in the 54^th minute for taking a swing at Francis Doe.
