East Coast Teams Battle For Supremacy

The battle for supremacy in Group B of the Under-14 Minister of Education League Cup (MELC) 2011 is likely to go down to the wire between two teams from the east coast – SMK Bukit Nenas of Terengganu and SMK Seberang Temerloh of Pahang.

And this week SMK Bukit Nenas, who were the runners-up last year, kept up the pressure at the top of Group B with another convincing performance to dispose of SMK Gunung Rapat of Perak 3-0.

Mohd Zarulizwan Mazlan was on target with a brace in the 14^th and 52^nd minute as an own goal from Mohamad Ramadhan Jalil in the 44^th minute gave the homesters the comprehensive victory in front of their home fans.
