Ho Chi Minh _ Malaysia and Cambodia lost their dreams to win the AFC U-14 Girls Regional Championship for the ASEAN region as they drew 3-3 in their penultimate match at Thong Nhat Stadium on Saturday.
Chea Phalla, Keal Srey Yourn and Song Channa were the scorers for the Cambodians while Malaysia’s goals were contributed by Kesatharsini Tamilselvam, Noorfaziera Hanim Jamsari and Lorena Kristy Jamiyan.
Both Cambodia and Malaysia are still winless after four games and will be playing for pride in the last round against leaders Vietnam and fourth-spot Myanmar, who are still in contention for the championship, respectively.
