Defending champions SMK Tunku Anum of Kedah are just two games away from confirming their place in the semi-finals of the Under-14 Minister of Education League Cup (MELC) 2011.
With the 3-0 win they scored against SMK Tabuan Jaya of Sarawak in Alor Setar Tuesday, the northerners have now picked up the maximum 21 points from the seven matches played and are firmly placed at the top of Group A.
In front of a home crowd of well over 2,000, SMK Tunku Anum made sure that they remained undefeated with goals off Muhammad Saiful Amri Ismail (3rd and 70th minute) and Mohd Aizat Mukhlis Mohammad Yazir (58th minute).
