Ho Chi Minh _ Nguyen Thi Quynh scored four goals as hosts Vietnam thrashed Malaysia 7-1 in the AFC U-14 Girls Regional Championship ASEAN region opening match on Tuesday.
Striker Thi Quynh was on fire as she bulged the Malaysian’s net on 16 and 25 minutes and then come second half scored another brace within two minutes, on the 41st and 42nd-minute marks, at Thong Nhat Stadium.
Another striker Nguyen Thi Nu had opened the scoring for Nguyen Thi Khanh Thu’s side while midfielder Pham Thi Thu Hien and defender Truong Thi Thuy also got on the scoresheet.
