Malaysia Under 23 vs FC Ryukyu

FC Ryukyu a professional soccer team based in Okinawa, Japan will be headed to Malaysia for a friendly match with the Malaysia National Under 23 team (Harimau Muda A) in December. This match is part of the commemoration of the “40th Year of ASEAN-Japan Friendship and Cooperation” through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan. FC Ryukyu hopes to be a bridge in between Okinawa, Japan and Malaysia through the sport of soccer.

Goal line referees to be introduced

GOAL LINE referees will be introduced in selected matches in next season's M-League, and if everything goes well, it will go full-scale in 2015.FA of Malaysia (FAM) referees committee chairman Datuk Astaman Abdul Aziz said goal line referees along with communication sets for match officials will be introduced in stages next season.

Kontrak Rajagobal sampai Disember

 

Persatuan Bolasepak Malaysia (FAM) sahkan tidak melanjutkan khidmat Datuk K. Rajagobal sebagai ketua jurulatih pasukan negara selepas tempoh kontraknya berakhir pada 31 Disember ini.

Sebaliknya, jurulatih Harimau Muda A, Datuk Ong Kim Swee dilantik sebagai jurulatih sementara negara sehingga FAM menemui penyandang tetap yang berkemungkinan besar warga asing dalam tempoh menjelang perlawanan Kumpulan D Piala Asia 2015 dengan Yemen, 5 Mac depan.

The 100PLUS Super Cup, which continues to be an important stepping stone for youth development in the country since its inception in 2000, will be held at the SMK Mutiara Impian Mini Stadium in Penang from Nov 24-27.

Harapan Malaysia untuk melangkah ke pusingan akhir Piala Asia 2015 di Australia kini tipis selepas tewas kepada Qatar 0-1 dalam aksi kelayakan di Stadium Shah Alam, Selasa.

Qatar dan Bahrain kini mengetuai Kumpulan D dan mengesahkan tempat ke pusingan akhir nanti.

Malaysia masih miliki peluang tipis jika berjaya mengalahkan Yemen dalam saingan terakhir di tempat lawan, 5 Mac tahun depan, namun pada masa yang sama terpaksa bergantung kepada keputusan perlawanan lain untuk menamatkan cabaran selaku pasukan ketiga terbaik.

AFC Asian Cup Qualifier: Malaysia 0-1 Qatar

Abdulkareem Al Ali came off the bench to net the only goal as Qatar booked their place in the 2015 AFC Asian Cup with a 1-0 win over Malaysia at the Shah Alam Stadium on Tuesday.

The Qataris only needed a draw to qualify for Australia but Al Ali turned in Khalfan Ibrahim’s cross in the 65th minute to ensure that Fahad Thani’s side confirmed their progress from Group D with something to spare.

K.Rajagobal: keep our focus and to do our best

 

Qatar coach Fahad Thani is confident that his team will not only qualify for the 2015 AFC Asian Cup but will do so as winners of Group D.

With the top two teams advancing to Australia, the Qataris know that a draw with Malaysia at the Shah Alam Stadium on Tuesday will be enough to send them through to the finals for the ninth time in 10 attempts.
